The Old Rugged Cross and You
The Old Rugged Cross, the emblems of suffering and pain. The lyrics speak about the Apostle Paul's declaration which say's that whatever things were gain to him, those things he counted as loss, for the sake of Christ, Philippians 3:7. We rejoice in the Cross for through the Cross our salvation, Grace and God's mercy is all to be found in the Redemptive work of the cross. We rejoice to know this hymn, about the saving power of the Cross.
