The pick-up measure of the melody has a D note and it is played on the 4th open string. Measure 1 has two G notes played on the 3rd open string, followed by 2 B notes on the 2nd open string. Measure 2 has 2 A notes and it is played on the 3rd string, 2nd fret, then G on the 3rd open string, then B on the 2nd open string.
