A Mighty fortress is my God begins with a pick-up note C on the second string, 1st fret.

Measure 1 has 2 C notes played on the 2nd string, 1st fret, then to the 3rd open string G, still on the same string 2rd fret A, then 2nd open string B note.

Measure 2 has 2 C notes played on the 2nd string, 1st fret, down to the 2nd open string B note then 3rd string, 2nd fret A note then G note on the 3rd open string.

Measure 3 of A Mighty Fortress is my God has a B note played on the 2nd open string, then 2 A notes on the 3rd string, 2nd fret, then G note on the 3rd open string.
